The Department of Geography and Geomatics Council convened
under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Saleh Ragab Eissa, with Dr. Mohamed Salah
Ghanem serving as Secretary, and in the presence of the esteemed council
members.
During the meeting, the Council discussed the following
topics:
- Approval of the minutes of the
previous session.
- Approval of the registration of
a PhD dissertation for an Assistant Lecturer in the Department.
- Follow-up on the completion of
the Quality Assurance file for the 2025/2026 academic year.
- Approval of a one-year
extension of leave for a faculty member to complete a scientific mission.
- Approval of the appointment of
a Professor in the field of Physical Geography.
- Distribution of courses for the
first semester of the 2026/2027 academic year.
- Discussion of any new business.
