The Geography Department Council met under the chairmanship
of Prof. Dr. Saleh Ragab Eissa, with Dr. Mohamed Salah Ghanem as secretary, and
in the presence of council members.
The council discussed the following topics:
- Approval of the minutes of the
previous meeting.
- Endorsement of registration,
supervision, and scholarships for some postgraduate students pursuing
Master’s and Doctoral degrees.
- Approval of the assignment of a
faculty member.
- Approval of changing the
department’s name from “Geography” to “Geography and Geomatics.”
