Yesterday, Tuesday, 10 February 2026, the Council of the
Faculty of Arts convened at 2:00 p.m. in the Faculty Council Hall, under the
chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Hassan Abou El-Kheir, Dean of the Faculty and
Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Mohammed Fathy
El-Gallab, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research; Prof. Dr. Gamal Abou
El-Wafa, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; and the
esteemed members of the Faculty Council.
A number of important matters were discussed, foremost among
them:
- Ratification of the minutes of
the previous session.
- Approval of the formation of
examination and marking committees for the February 2026 session.
- Approval of amendments to (names,
national ID numbers, and dates of birth) of some students in accordance
with the official documents submitted.
The Council also approved academic promotions and
appointments, as well as scholarships, extensions, registrations, thesis
supervision formations and amendments, and the cancellation of enrollment for
some postgraduate students.
