Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Essam El-Din Sadeq Farhat, President of Minya University, and Prof. Dr. Mostafa Mahmoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, on Tuesday, 16 December 2025, Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Hassan Abou El-Kheir, Dean of the Faculty and Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, received the women’s five-a-side football team and congratulated them on achieving second place at the university level.

The reception was attended by Dr. Tarek Zaghloul, Director of the Student Welfare Department at the Faculty. His Excellency directed that a financial reward be granted to the team in appreciation of their outstanding and effective participation and for winning the silver medal. He also extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Faculty’s Student Welfare Department for their dedicated efforts.

The team was supervised by Dr. Mostafa Rashad, Senior Specialist at the Department, and Ms. Asmaa Fawzy Abdel Aziz, Sports Activity Supervisor at the Faculty’s Student Welfare Department.

He also emphasized the full and continuous support provided to student activities at both the Faculty and the University.
