As part of Minia University’s celebration of
its fiftieth anniversary and its commitment to strengthening its visual
identity in a way that reflects its rich history and future vision, the
University announces an open competition to redesign its logo. The new logo
should express the unique cultural and civilizational identity of Minia
Governorate—the Bride of Upper Egypt and home of the bust of Nefertiti, the
symbol of beauty and creativity—while enhancing the University’s standing
locally and internationally.
Competition Rules :
The design should be inspired by the
University’s current logo and must retain the bust of Nefertiti as the main
visual element representing authenticity and the
cultural identity of the region.
The logo must reflect the University’s core
values: knowledge, innovation, development, and national belonging.
The design must be suitable for use across all
digital and printed media (flags, banners, official correspondence, the
University website, etc.) and must allow for adding the name of each faculty in
both Arabic and English along with the University name for the various faculty
logos. (Using the same base logo for all faculties is preferred, with the
faculty and University names added in distinctive colors to differentiate each
faculty.)
Each participant or team may submit **one**
design only, accompanied by a brief explanation describing the concept and
symbolism of the logo.
By participating in the competition, the
contestant grants the design to Minia University.
Target Participants :
University students, faculty members, alumni,
artists, and designers from within and outside Minia Governorate.
Awards & Recognition:
The winning participant or team will receive:
* A Certificate of Appreciation from Minia
University
