The Council of the Department of Archaeology
was held under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Gamal Sufouf , Head of the
Council, with the attendance of the esteemed members and Dr. Ahmed Salah
El-Shazly serving as Secretary.
The Council discussed several routine topics,
including :
* Ratification of the minutes of the previous
meeting .
* Approval of the department’s cultural
activities for the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic year .
* Approval of establishing a scientific journal
titled “Khmnu” named after the oldest historical city in Minia —El-Ashmunein .
* Approval of the department’s field training
program .
* Approval of conducting educational field
trips .
* Approval of the Pre-Master’s program
admissions .
